Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Proctored One, Inc. (“Proctored One,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the Proctored One platform, including the marketing site, control panel, and candidate desktop client.

What we collect

• Account information. Email address, name, and organization details you provide when signing up. For OAuth sign-ins, we receive the basic profile fields your provider returns (name, email, profile image).
• Operator activity. Audit log entries for actions taken in the control panel (policy changes, exam creation, feature flag changes), including the actor, timestamp, IP address, and user-agent string.
• Candidate session data. When a candidate runs the desktop client, we record monitoring events emitted by their session (screen, camera, audio, and interaction signals as configured by your policy), connection metadata, device information, and risk score.
• Demo requests.Information you submit through the “Book a demo” form is stored to schedule and follow up on the request.

How we use it

• To operate, secure, and improve the Proctored One platform.
• To produce assessment reports and audit trails for your organization.
• To respond to inquiries, support requests, and contractual obligations.
• To meet legal and compliance obligations.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use customer or candidate data to train third-party AI models.
• We do not share data with advertising networks. The marketing site uses a small amount of first-party analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns.

Sub-processors

Proctored One relies on a short list of vetted sub-processors, including Supabase (database, auth, edge functions) and Vercel (hosting). A current list is available on request.

Retention

Operator account data is retained for the lifetime of the account. Candidate session recordings and monitoring events are retained for the duration configured by your organization (default: 90 days), then deleted. See data retention for full details.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email privacy@proctored.oneto make a request. We respond within 30 days.
